What to Expect

A TYPICAL EVENING AT STEPS OF GRACE

A typical evening at Steps of Grace may play out as follows. We kick the evening off at 6:45pm with worship and a 12-step reading. This usually takes about 25 minutes and is a very important part of our evening. We end the worship time with an offering that gives each one of us an opportunity to experience the "attitude of gratitude" and to participate in the personal growth that can come from giving.

After the offering, we have announcements and are then dismissed to our various groups to finish up the evening. Closed groups move to their respective rooms with the Open Group remaining in the auditorium. An overview of the "break-out group" experience is contained in the "Description of Groups" section of the packet. After the groups finish at approximately 9:00pm, you’ll notice that the auditorium is a good place to "hang out" and fellowship with others. It’s a time to enjoy the coffee AND to develop the recovery relationships you’ll find here at Steps of Grace!
