About the Ministry:

The Auto Repair Ministry was started in March of 1998. Since that time we have ministered to almost two hundred people.

The Ministry even went international in October of 2000 when I took my skills, tools and Rodney's tool box to minister in Bangalore India, now there I worked under shade tree's in te dirt with a language barrier between me and the parts runners. Veryy awesome place to visit, not sure if I could live there or not but it was fun.

I started after hearing God's prompting to get out of my comfort zone. Wow, did He ever move me! It has been a blast being able to serve people and being able to help them.

We limit repairs to basic services — oil changes tune-ups and similar type repairs. We are able to pass on the discount prices of high quality parts to the people needing service. And we also give away our labor for free. We perform this service on the second Saturday of the month apx. every other month, weather permitting. We don't even have a tree to work under, so we are not shade-tree mechanices by any means. The tentative schedule is posted on the church calendar. It may be cancelled if a scheduling conflict arises. Any cancellations will be posted in advance.

When you fill out the request form please fill it out completely, think of it as a medical questionaire, the more information you can give me the more accurate my diagnosis and I need to know everything about the car to get the correct parts. This saves us and the Auto Parts house time and money oredering the correct parts the first time. I know it seems crazy to need your engine size for a brake job but it does. If you need help finding the information for your vehicle send me an email or give me a call.

Change of Weekends

Hi all I am considering changing the weekend that the auto repair takes place. We have done it the second weekend of the month to take advantage of the Men's Breakfast being before that. I am considering either the first or third Saturday at 8:30 am.

this would take place after the first of the year. I need to get the dates onto the church calendar sometime in October so I need to start thinking abuot the changes now.

The date change and earlier start time will allow us to finish earlier in the day and not make it an all day afair.

Please let me know how you feel about this change.
