Pastor Hogue teaches this class; it is a good time to get acquainted with him and ask any questions that you may have regarding the church. Call the church office for the next date.

DC 201: Discovering Spiritual Growth

This class is usually offered every other month. DC201 is designed to help you discover spiritual maturity and provide added helps for studying the Bible and growing in your relationship to God. Call the church office for the next date.

Prerequisites: Must have completed DC101 or are already members of Community of Grace. Pre-enrollment is required for this class.

DC 301: Discovering Spiritual Destiny

We believe that every person who calls Community of Grace home has been placed here by God with a divine purpose in mind. This seminar is a key for many to discover what that purpose is and to realize its fulfillment in ministry. Call for details for the next class.

Preregistration and advance purchase of your materials ($10.00) is a must.

What is CLASS 201?

Once a person makes a decision to become a follower of Jesus Christ, the adventure is just beginning. Because growth is not automatic, we need some tools that will assist us in that personal walk with Jesus. CLASS 201 is designed to assist you in your walk with Jesus by giving you some basic helpful tools that you will need to get the most out of your relationship with Him. In the class, we talk about the daily disciplines that help you in your spiritual development. You will learn some simple basic methods to help understand the Word of God (the Bible) and develop a habit of prayer. We will address how maturity happens, show you the resources available to you, and give you some practical helps to overcome some of the common obstacles that keep us from growing in Christ. It doesn't matter if you have been a Christian for one week or for many years, the basics of our Christian faith need a good foundation from which to grow. If you have not benefited from the basics that lead to a walk with Jesus, we invite you to come and get a good start.

Who can attend the CLASS 201?

The class will benefit anyone who has a relationship with Christ, but there is a prerequisite to taking the class. You need to either be a current church member or have already completed CLASS 101: DISCOVERING CHURCH MEMBERSHIP. If you are not a church member, you need the foundations that are given in the CLASS 101 first before you can take this class. The CLASS 101 is offered monthly so be looking in the church bulletin for when the next one is available or call the church office at 783-8062.

Why must I preregister?

Preregistration helps us know how many to expect so that we can have enough materials available and make adequate provision. We provide a sandwich snack and want to be good stewards of our time and resources as well. If you wish to register during the Sunday morning service, please sign up on the friendship flap included in your bulletin.

Is there Child Care available?

YES! However, for us to make adequate provision for your child, we need to know a few days in advance in order to insure we have enough childcare workers. Both class and the childcare are free.
