Does God have a sense of humor?
One look in the mirror for me and it confirms He must......
How about answering prayers? I think so.
Over the last few years while working the World Changers event in Clovis some of us Crew Chiefs have asked for the ridiculous in needs for accomplishing our jobs during the week, from a helicopter stationed above the house to create a cooling atmosphere, It is HOT during the summer Sunday afternoon hit a high of 109, Monday morning at 0700 it was well into the 80's. We have asked for misting systems installed around our easy up tents to make it more comfortable while we take our breaks and have lunch etc.
Well this year God answered our wants with real world answers. Everyday it was hot but also had a breeze, making working on a roof, breaking out an old driveway, knocking over a fence, or scraping paint off of a house a lot easier to bear. On Tuesday He pulled a Bay Area air conditioner on us, complete cloud cover, then He even installed a mister system by having it rain for a few minutes...
The cloud cover lasted until late morning allowing the crews to keep up a frantic pace to get the houses done on time.
Next year I look forward to Him providing a crane for the roofing crews to lift the A/C units from the roof to facilitate replacing the roof materials under them...
Well that is enough for now I will try to put up a few more posts with more of our adventures, including where all the males from our group spent the first few hours hanging out...
Hint it wasn't any area the guys would normally be at....

Hi all!!!
Wondering where the guys spent the first several hours of this years World Changers Trip?
Well I'll tell you, they spent the first several hours in the Ladies locker room, yes you read that right, the Ladies Locker Room.
Calm down, it is not anything inapropriate, we were some of the first to arrive so after we got our stuff to our room we assisted the WC staff in setting up the shower stalls. I know some of you were hoping for a tidy bit of gossip or something but nope you get nadda. The young men of COG were going above and beyond to help out and set up.
As guys we all learned one thing about the Ladies Locker Room. It is not anything special, nope not at all. No fancy soaps, fancy curtains, unless blue tarps are fancy, but hey the guys even got those. It is just a plain old locker room, noting to be jealous over. So Ladies your mistique of how great your locker room is is shattered, sorry to burst your bubble but now the truth is now out in the open.
